Kutta roti ek chura kar, bhaaga munh main usse daba kar
Kisi nadi ke tat par aaya, dekhi tab jal main nij chhaaya
Samjha koi dekh kar but sa, roti liye khada hai kutta
Jhapta use chheenane jyon hi, khoyi nij roti bhi tyon hi
Hansne lage dekhne wale, kisi kisi ne fande daale
Kutta kheencha gaya kinare, chala gaya nij mann ko maare
Once upon a time there was a dog who stole a piece of bread,he came upon a river and looked at the reflection. He thought it was another dog with a piece of bread. As soon as he lunged in the water to grab the other's piece of bread he lost his own in the water. People who were looking on the side were amused, however they put nets into the water. The dog was pulled ashore to safety but having lost his piece of bread, he went home sad.
